Where it all Began!

Amethyst belongs to the semi precious group of gemstones, Amethyst is the purple variety of quartz and the most valued member of the quartz family. It must be purple to be amethyst, but it can display a range of shades including deep purple, light lilac, lavender and mauve.

Fun fact: Amethyst is the official birthstone for February as adopted by the American National Association of Jewelers in 1912. It is also the birth stone for the Zodiac sign of Pisces.

January oh’ January as your last days are upon us which by the way has been so awesome and fun filled with remarkable and stunning garnet jewelry/jewellery finds, we prematurely look forward to the month of the amethyst and wanted to do a sneak peak of whats to come, very very exciting stuff!

Don’t be too blue!

The end of 2015 is upon us and we wanted to share some of our favorite trends in jewelry for the next couple days, as a “jewelry trend – year end review.” 

Being blue is a good thing, with this beautiful turquoise jewelry, amazing designs from Tiffany’s and De Grisogono, they brought this stone back from the depths of the jewel box, making it very trendy and hip with such innovative and unique creations, love, love, love the shades of blue!
